Denis Sahayaraj KULANDAISAMY, was born in India (Veeravanallur, Tamil Nadu).He is a graduate from Bharathidasan University (India). He holds a Doctorate in Theology from the "Marianum" Theological Faculty, Rome. He holds a Licenciate degree in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome. In the year 2005, he did his biblical studies in Jerusalem. Since 2007, he has been teaching Biblical Exegesis and Mariology in Rome at the "Marianum" Pontifical Theological Faculty and the "Augustinianum" Institute of Patrology (Lateran University, Rome). He has been a visiting Professor at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Acquinas (Angelicum, Rome), and at the Monte Berico Higher Institute for Religious Science, Vicenza, Italy. He is a member of the Editorial board of the International Mariological Review "Marianum". He has given many conference and published a number of articles on the New Testament Exegesis and Mariology: Some of his well-known publications are as follows:: The birth of Jesus or the birth of Christians? An Inquiry into the Authenticity of John 1:13, Marianum Editions, Rome 2015, pages 350;  "The First Sign of Jesus at the Wedding at Cana. An Exegetical Study on the Function and Meaning of John 2:1-12", in 'Marianum' 68 (2006),  pp. 17-116.
